Day Two of the Night Denizen party in the gated community.
Lots of cautious eyeing of prospective enemies all night. Something happened that destroyed the living room so after that it was the site of one on one fights for money.

Had some MIAs last night so we played a round of Settlers of Catan. Aj the noob won the game. Had a interesting board though. We had 2 different spots on the map with double numbers. I had the 8s with ore and sheep and Aj had 5s with wheat and wood. Tim was pretty much behind the whole time. Strange how the dice roll out sometimes.
Still a good game.

"Who are these miserable persons?"

"Well, we aren't sure, but we have it narrowed down to a handful of suspects." Durmond paged through files on his phone. He wore jeans and a black t-shirt with a scarf around it, thin glasses and a billed knit cap. He blended well with todays youth even though he was almost 200 years old. "Frankly, none of them seem capable of what we're seeing though, I expect they are a front to a much larger problem."

"I see." Garus walked across the hall, his custom made Italian wingtips taping softly on the marble floor, velvet curtains on the walls trapping any echos. "I have a feeling they aren't a front. They move much to quickly to be taking orders from an organized source." He stopped in front of a well appointed cabinet and poured wine from a crystal decanter. He held the glass to the light of the fireplace along the far wall and swirled it gently, it was completly opaque. Turning again to face Durmond he sipped lightly before speaking, "Attend the party personaly. Watch yourself, events surrounding them are fluid at best."

Durmond continuded to page through as he spoke. "Will do. I'll take Seth and Sam as backup. They work well in high stress situations."

Garus crossed the room and stood in front of the fire. He waved his hand and the flame reacted to his movement, swirling into the shape of a man, then into a woman, then into a werebeast. "I'm certain the Garou are watching more closely than it appears, keep Sam under control if they should attend."

" 'kay. Should we approach this time? If we make first contact they may be more receptive."

"No. Observe only, in case I am mistaken about them operating alone. They may move quickly in the manner of today, but I will hold to letting time do my work."

Durmond nodded and put his phone away. He replaced his earbuds and headed towards the door. It closed behind him with a deep thud and a quiet latch. Garus drained the glass and walked to his desk. "If I can wait 900 years, a few more weeks is no matter. They will come to me soon enough."

A shadow across the room moved and spoke. "These Anarchs will not be easily controled. They are powerful even if they don't realize it yet. The wolves certainly do, if they fully gain their trust we will have real problems."

"Not problems, resolution." Garus pushed a button on his desk and a hidden door along the wall opened, a bent misshapen figure emerging. "The Camarilla will jump to defend themselves agains the wolves and two... issues, will fall like parchment before fire." The bent figure handed Garus two papers and left again. "The Primogen are frightened."

He looked up at the shadow and smiled slightly. "Steal another Whip and give it to the wolves. This just may play out in todays speed-filled fashion."

"Gladly." The shadow faded, leaving only a lighter shade of darkness in it's wake.

This session started off with us vampires getting a present, the whip of the Ventrue clan. He wasn't very forthcoming with information. The second part of our present was the deed to the mansion in the gated community that held the party.
So what do we do with a mansion? Burn a gold card on Rent-a-Center everything and fill the house, buy beer and alcohol, food and throw a bash and invite all your enemies and lots of innocent bystanders to a three day party.
By the second night of the party, quite a few of the humans had moved into the other model mansions that surround this house.

We didnt' get much done because we hadn't seen each other in a month, so we talked quite a bit.
