Amanda ripped the bluetooth headset from her ear and threw it on the passenger seat of her BMW, but the scream was still loud enough to hear, "What do you mean they lost the payload?"

She sighed, stopping for a red light in a dusty suburb of Mesa and drummed her fingers on the wheel. She had only found out that the team that was supposed to aquire the "payload" (even she didn't know what was in it) failed. Four dead, left in the street for the police to find and only a few darkened frames on the security camera to aee what happened.

Her people got in, but someone else followed them and took out 2/3 of a team of top teir mercs in less than 15 seconds. They fled with their lives, since the panel truck they brought to haul the pallet with the payload on had been comprimised, and now she has to deal with telling the boss the update.

Her headset screamed again. She drove away reaching to pick it up when her other phone went off. She pulled it and checked the message.

"We think we have a lead! We found a video blog with two guys on it that seem to match the guys in the security tape. We're looking for the car as we speak. Give us a day."

She smiled, steadied herself and picked up the headset...
